Anda-Olsen delivers uninterruptible power supplies to installations where operation and safety cannot be compromised. Our products are used in demanding environments, both at sea and on land, providing secure power for applications such as automation, navigation, networks, and emergency systems.
Maritime needs became solutions for many
The company has its origins in the maritime environment. Experience from narrow ship corridors and demanding installations led to the development of our own UPS products, designed for harsh conditions. Today, our solutions are used by maritime operators worldwide.
Over time, it became clear that the products also addressed needs in other markets. Together with third-party solutions, we now cover the need for uninterruptible power in:
- Aquaculture
- Healthcare and hospitals
- Public sector
- Power and grid companies
- Road and tunnel installations
- Industry and data centers
We work closely with electrical contractors who bring our solutions to end customers.
A company with a long history
Anda-Olsen’s history dates back to 1959, when the business started as an agency for batteries and lighting products under the name Handelsfirma Birger Anda. In 1982, the company was renamed Anda-Olsen AS. The company was family-owned until 2018, when external management was introduced.
In 2021, Anda-Olsen gained new co-owners and capital through share issuance and share sales. This laid the foundation for further growth nationally and internationally—particularly within self-developed products such as Anda Power Solutions (APS).
