During his time at BEWI, Riise worked across several parts of the business. His experience includes EPS fish boxes for aquaculture and fisheries, injection-molded plastic packaging for the food industry, and trading operations supplying packaging solutions primarily to aquaculture and fisheries.
In recent years, his work has increasingly focused on strategic development.
I have worked both operationally and strategically, particularly over the last few years. That has given me experience in change management, portfolio development, and identifying new markets

I enjoy working with numbers. The foundation of any business is understanding your data. When you have a clear overview of what you do, how you do it, and the value you deliver to customers, it becomes much easier to develop the business further

Looking Forward to New Industries
In his new role, Riise looks forward to gaining deeper insight into several of the industries Anda-Olsen works closely with.
I’m looking forward to getting closer to the maritime cluster we have here on Sunnmøre. At the same time, it will be exciting to learn more about land-based sectors such as data centers and infrastructure

He also points to the potential for expanding the company’s international activities.
