Victron Skylla TG is an industrial and marine-grade battery charger designed for 24V and 48V systems. Available both as standard TG models and in GL-certified variants, it is ideal for use in challenging maritime environments. The series provides precise, temperature-compensated 3-stage charging (IUoUo) and can also be used as a stable power supply when required.
Universal input (90–265V AC) and support for 90–400V DC supply on the GL models ensure flexible integration worldwide.
Built for Land and Sea
When installed with the included external temperature sensor, the charging voltage will automatically adjust in response to extreme cold or heat.
A robust aluminum housing, forced cooling, and high moisture tolerance make the Skylla TG ideal for engine rooms and technical enclosures.
GL-Certified for the Most Stringent Requirements
The GL-approved Skylla TG has been tested to meet maritime EMC standards (EMC 1) and environmental category C. The certification covers installation in protected areas (including the bridge), ensuring predictable and reliable operation onboard. GL variants also feature universal input 90–265 V AC (50/60 Hz) and accept DC supply 90–400 V, making them ideal for hybrid or specialized applications.
Clean, Controlled Charging That Extends Battery Life
Skylla TG uses a three-stage charging profile: rapid bulk, controlled absorption, and gentle float maintenance. This ensures safe and complete charging of 24V lead-acid batteries (AGM/GEL/open) while providing stable voltage for sensitive equipment when the charger is used as a power supply.
Two Outputs: Main Bank + Starter Battery
Standard TG models include a separate 4 A auxiliary charger dedicated to the starter battery. This keeps the starter bank fully charged without overloading the service bank — a simple safeguard against unwanted downtime.
Built-In Safety and Protection
Short-circuit protection, reverse polarity detection, over-temperature protection, and high battery voltage monitoring come standard. The enclosure is IP21-rated for safe operation in technical spaces, and all models are equipped with potential-free alarm contacts for remote monitoring (GL models).
