Service and maintenance are incredibly important to the industry, and my ambition is to make Anda-Olsen the preferred choice by keeping things simple and hassle-free for our customers

Tommy Frøystad Beddari

Anda-Olsen has supplied UPS and battery systems to customers in Norway and internationally for several decades. For installations where reliable power supply is critical, regular service and maintenance are essential throughout the equipment's operational lifetime.

With Tommy joining the team, Anda-Olsen aims to strengthen support for its existing customer base and further develop its aftermarket services.

One point of contact for the entire fleet

Tommy sees considerable potential in a more proactive and structured approach to supporting both existing and new customers. In the maritime sector, he is particularly interested in developing relationships beyond individual vessels to entire shipping fleets.

“Service and maintenance are incredibly important to the industry, and my ambition is to make Anda-Olsen the preferred choice by keeping things simple and hassle-free for our customers,” Tommy explains.

He highlights one particular opportunity for shipowners:

“The goal should be to develop customer relationships from individual vessels to the entire shipping company. This would make things much easier for shipowners, giving them a single point of contact for UPS systems across their fleet.”

His responsibilities also cover land-based installations. Better visibility of existing UPS systems and their service requirements helps customers plan maintenance, spare parts and upgrades before problems arise.

Experience in sales and customer development

Tommy joins Anda-Olsen from Wattn, having previously worked at Fjordkraft and Elaway. Over more than ten years in the energy industry, he has gained experience in B2B sales, key account management, partner development and customer relations.

His previous responsibilities include managing key accounts, external sales channels and nationwide partner networks. He has also managed sales processes from prospecting through to contract signing and led CRM projects for business customers.

This experience will support his work with Anda-Olsen's installed base and the development of long-term customer relationships.

“After working in the energy industry for over ten years, the opportunity to combine my background with the maritime sector was a major motivation for joining Anda-Olsen.”

Availability and understanding customer needs

For Tommy, good aftermarket support goes beyond responding when service is needed. He wants to stay ahead of customer requirements and build relationships based on trust.

“To me, availability, reliability and understanding our customers' needs are essential to building trust over time. Particularly in the maritime sector, I believe being proactive will contribute to reliable operations.”

He is also looking forward to developing his technical knowledge and working alongside his new colleagues.

“There is a high level of technical expertise at Anda-Olsen, and I look forward to learning from the skilled people around me.”

A warm welcome to Anda-Olsen, Tommy!
