Expertise across the organisation
Our projects involve a wide range of disciplines. Technical expertise must be turned into reliable solutions, those solutions must be built, tested and followed up, and the organisation around them must work effectively.
The four new employees are therefore joining very different parts of Anda-Olsen.
Here is a chance to get to know them a little better.
Anita Håvik – Accounting Assistant
Anita is from Austefjorden and currently lives in Volda. She has worked in accounting for the past five years, with experience from both an accounting firm and an in-house finance department within a corporate group.
She has now joined Anda-Olsen as an Accounting Assistant.
“Anda-Olsen seemed like an exciting place to work in an industry that is developing and growing. I am looking forward to getting to know the company and becoming part of the team.”
Aron Larsen – Project Engineer
Aron is 24 years old, originally from Stavanger and now lives in Ålesund.
In June, he completed a bachelor’s degree in Automation and Intelligent Systems at NTNU in Ålesund, specialising in Robotics and Intelligent Systems.
He was already familiar with Anda-Olsen through career events, but became particularly interested in the company when he came across the Project Engineer position. The combination of automation, software and hardware matched his academic background and interests well.
“Anda-Olsen stood out because of the opportunity to take ownership of my work and develop through new challenges.”
Aron is looking forward to building further expertise in automation through project engineering, maintaining existing solutions and developing new ones.
Even Sakshaug – Production Technician
Even is originally from Steinkjer and now lives in Mauseidvåg.
Before joining Anda-Olsen, he worked as a Service Mechanic at Ferda Caravan Service. He holds a trade certificate as a switchboard assembler and has now joined the production team at Anda-Olsen.
For Even, the close connection between the role and his electrical background was an important reason for choosing Anda-Olsen.
“The work at Anda-Olsen is highly relevant to my trade qualification as a switchboard assembler. I am looking forward to developing my electrical skills further and contributing to the production team.”
Nicolay Sandvik – Service Engineer
Nicolay was born and raised in Ålesund and currently lives at Åse.
He brings broad experience from electrical work, sales and maritime service. He first worked for ten years as an electrician, followed by five years as a Sales Manager at an electrical wholesaler. In recent years, he has worked as a Service Engineer within the maritime sector.
He now continues his career as a Service Engineer at Anda-Olsen.
“The company’s growth and development look very positive and exciting. I wanted to become part of the team and contribute to that journey.”
For Nicolay, the combination of technical challenges and the opportunity to work internationally is also an important part of the role.
“The opportunity to travel and experience different parts of the world while learning new things and continuing to develop professionally is something that really motivates me.”
More new colleagues are on the way
Anita, Aron, Even and Nicolay bring new expertise to four different areas of Anda-Olsen. At the same time, the organisation continues to develop. More new colleagues will be joining us in the coming months. We look forward to introducing them when they are on board.
